Further the No. 01 Flying Training Wing which is the nurturing ground for SLAF pilots is based here. In addition it is also home to the No.14 Squadron which flies K-8 Jet trainers.
The Academy moulds Officer Cadets into servicemen with character and confidence to take on the mantle of officering in the SLAF. In addition it also transforms recruits into potential Airmen to staff the diverse areas of work of the SLAF.
