Leading Aircraftman Samantha Lakmal secured the 1st place of the "Salis Wasaraka Mahaweli Asiriya Papedi Sawariya" cycle race which was concluded on 08 January 2018 at Moragahakanda. The race wound its way through Moragahakanda, Naula, Dambulla , Matale, Katugastota and ended at Polgolla, Covering a total distance of 108.2 km.
