On the instructions of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, the Sri Lanka Air Force conducted Blood Donation Campaigns at various SLAF Establishments. These campaigns were conducted in order to provide required blood stocks to the National Blood Transfusion Service.

These campaigns were conducted today (22 March 2020) at SLAF Station Colombo and at SLAF Base Hingurakgoda. Further, Blood Donation Campaigns were conducted at SLAF Academy China Bay and by SLAF Station Weerawila as well on earlier dates.
