INTER UNIT MEN’S T-20 AND WOMEN’S SIX SIDE SOFT BALL CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP-2022

The Inter Unit Cricket Men’s and Women’s Championships 2022 concluded yesterday (01 December 2022) at SLAF Base Katunayake. The Director Administration of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal RS Biyanwila, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
SLAF Base Hingurakgoda secured the Men’s Championship whilst the SLAF Trade Training School Ekala claimed the Women’s Championship. In the Men's Finals, SLAF Base Hingurakgoda scored of 159/8 in 20 overs. In reply SLAF Station Colombo was bowled out for 139 in 19 overs. In the Women's Finals, SLAF Trade Training School Ekala scored 50/3 in 05 overs. In reply SLAF Supply & Maintenance Depot Katunayake scored only 40/2 in 05 overs.
Chairman of SLAF Cricket, Group Captain SP Jayasinghe, Members of the Air Force Sports Council, officers and other ranks also witnessed the finals.
