SLAF Seva Vaitha Unit donates seventeenth house

The seventeenth house built by the Sri Lanka Air Force, Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over by SVU Chairperson Mrs. Nelun Goonetileke on 18 February, 2011 in Manikhinna, Kandy.

Recipients of this newly built house are the wife and two children of Flight Sergeant Aswadduma who was killed in action at Anuradhapura on 22 October, 2007.

The house was constructed under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Unit Sigiriya, Wing Commander Chaminda De Silva. The executive committee of Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit and several relatives were present at the occasion.





Sri Lanka Air Force, is the only aerial arm among the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, responsible for defending the nation's airspace and supporting its sister services for all kind of operations.
