The Ananda College, Colombo pioneering Sri Lanka's First English Buddhist School Celebrates 137th Author's Day with the Grand Opening of 'Ananda Museum' today (01 November 2023).  This remarkable project, five years in the making was brought to completion under the guidance of the school's current Principal, Mr. Lal Dissanayake and was executed by the College Archaeological Society.

The special guest of honour at the opening ceremony was Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa who also happens to be an esteemed alumnus of Ananda College. This event marked a significant milestone in the school's rich history, showcasing its commitment to preserving its heritage and promoting the values of education and culture.
