The Government Inter Institutions Elle Men's and Women's Championships-2023, a prominent annual event organized by the Federation of Elle Sri Lanka, concluded on 25 November 2023 at the Sports Grounds Welisara Nawaloka and Nawaloka Seevali Kelaniya.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Namal Suranga, the President of the Sri Lanka Elle Federation. Various government entities vied in this tournament.

In the Men's category, the SLAF exhibited exceptional skills, securing the Runners-up Championship in Division "B." Throughout the tournament, the SLAF Men's team displayed their skills by defeating challenging opponents such as Divisional Secretariats in Wattala, Katana, Kelaniya and the Civil Aviation Authority teams. The tournament culminated in a gripping final against the Sri Lanka Navy, where they displayed commendable sportsmanship despite facing defeat.

The Secretary of SLAF Elle, Wing Commander GDP Premadasa and the Assistant Secretary of SLAF Elle, Squadron Leader KMBR Konara, along with other ranks from the Sri Lanka Air Force, were present to witness the tournament.
