SLAF HOSPITAL KATUNAYAKE'S NVQ LEVEL 3 CAREGIVER COURSE RECOGNIZED BY SLBFE

The SLAF commenced an NVQ Level 3 Caregiver Course at SLAF Hospital Katunayake for retiring SLAF service personnel to expand their vocational qualifications and make them competent for foreign employment opportunities. SLAF Hospital Katunayake is accredited under the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission as a training center to offer National Vocational Qualifications. The first caregiver course was started in May 2023 and the 3rd course is being conducted currently.
Stepping forward, The NVQ Level 3 Caregiver Course at SLAF Hospital Katunayake was recognized and registered under the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE). The event of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the SLAF and the SLBFE took place at Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment at Battaramulla on 08 February 2024. The occasion was attended by the Director General Health Service of SLAF, Air Vice Marshal (Dr.) Lalith Jayaweera and the Chairman SLBFE, Mr. AAM Hilme together with the General Manager, Mr. DDP Senanayake.
