SUCCESSFUL GRADUATION MARKS CULMINATION OF NO. 75 JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE AT SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY

The Graduation Ceremony of the No. 75 Junior Command and Staff Course was held today (10 April 2024) at the Junior Command and Staff College Auditorium at the SLAF Academy China Bay. Former Commander of Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Jayalath Weerakkody RWP, VSV, USP, ndc, psc, qfi graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.

 First Commandant of the Junior Command and Staff College, Air Vice Marshal EGJP De Silva (Retd) and one of the members of the founding faculty, Group Captain BWP Jayasinghe (Retd), Director General Planning, Air Vice Marshal VB Edirisinghe also graced the occasion.

The ceremony marked the end of a 14-week long course attended by a total of 29 Officers out of which 26 Officers were from the SLAF in the rank of Squadron Leader and Flight Lieutenant, two Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy and one Officer from Indian Air Force.
 
The Junior Command and Staff College is accredited to the General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University and the Officers who fulfill the required criteria will be offered a Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management.
