Commander's Annual Inspection of Sri Lanka Air Force Station, Batticaloa

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Stations Batticaloa(29 April 2011).
The Commanding Officer of SLAF Batticaloa, Group Captain Allen Fernando received the Commander on his arrival to the Station and a Guard of Honour was conferred by Flight Lieutenant SP Thoradeniya. During the course of the inspection the Commander declared open the newly built station Main Guard Room and 2 chalets for Officers & Airmen of the station. The Commander also inaugurated the road illumination lightning project.
The following person was commended by the Commander for exceptionally meritorious execution of duties during the past year.
