The Annual SLAF Christian Religious Ceremony was held at the St. Theresa’s Church Thibirigasyaya today (19th August 2011) with the key participation of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama.

During the ceremony all SLAF personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and their grieving families were remembered and blessed. Blessings on the Leaders and People of the country, the three service Commanders, all officers and other ranks presently serving in SLAF, all establishments and assets of SLAF too, were invoked during the ceremony.

The service was attended by the Air Force Board of Management, senior officers, other Officers as well as a cross section of other ranks representing all Bases and stations as well as various trades of the Air Force.
