The Sri Lanka Air Force Museum is open to public on  weekdays and Saturdays other than Public Holidays and Poya days from 0900hrs to 1700hrs.   

Visitors have to obtain prior approval from the Commanding Officer of the Sir Lanka Air Force Museum (AP&SU) by making a written application.

Foreigners have to get a special approval from the Ministry of Defence to visit the Museum. All the visitors are kindly requested to refrain from smoking inside the museum complex.

The restricted area in Air Force Base is clearly marked and all visitors are advised to avoid trespassing in such areas.
