This is the first power generation source, which was used in the Royal Air Force in 1945.

This unique working machine manufactured in 1930 was initially installed in the year 1945 at the main power house of Royal Air Force Station, Katunayake.

It was then shifted to the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy, China-Bay in 1978. This Generator is currently in use as a stand-by power source for the Museum Complex.
