This is the trainer version of MiG 15 aircraft, which is a single seat fighter. MiG aircraft were acquired by the Sri Lanka Air Force during the 1971 insurgency. Since then these fighters have dominated the Sri Lankan airspace until the year 1979.

This aircraft is a product of State Industries of Union of Soviet Socialist Republic and is capable of flying at a maximum speed of 660 mph with a range of 1220 miles.
