SLAF TROOPS ENGAGE IN DISASTER PREPAREDNESS DRIL AT BADULLA
The Disaster Assistance and Response Team (DART) of the SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa, in collaboration with Teaching Hospital Badulla and several other relevant agencies, successfully conducted ‘Disaster Preparedness Drill' near Badulla Depot today (28 October 2025).
The joint exercise was designed to enhance coordination among agencies and strengthen the hospital’s capacity to respond emergencies and mass casualty incidents. The Disaster Assistance and Response Team (DART) of SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa, comprising three officers and sixteen airmen, actively took part in the exercise, demonstrating a high level of readiness and expertise in disaster response and emergency evacuation procedures.
