The Sri Lanka Air Force Awurudu Pola was successfully held today (10 April 2026) at the Athletics Ground of SLAF Base Katunayake, in view of the forthcoming Sinhala and Hindu New Year celebrations.

The Sri Lanka Air Force celebrated the Sinhala and Hindu New Year today (10 April 2026), with the festive "Aurudu Udanaya" held at the sports grounds of SLAF Base Katunayake. 

 “Pollinator Garden,” a proactive initiative of the SLAF to support ecological health, biodiversity, and conservation by providing habitats, food, and shelter for pollinators, was created by the Agro Unit of SLAF Base Katunayake. It was declared open today (10 April 2026)
