A helicopter rescue exercise was successfully conducted today (18 June
2026) at Peanut Farm Beach in Panama area with the objective of
strengthening security and safety arrangements for both domestic and
international tourists.
The Inter Unit Taekwondo Championship 2026 was conducted from 16 to 17
June 2026, with the Awarding Ceremony held at the Indoor Gymnasium of
SLAF Base Katunayake. The Deputy Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal Gihan
Senevirathne, graced the occasion.
The SLAF secured three Gold Awards, one Silver Award and two Bronze
Awards at the National Convention on Quality and Productivity (NCQP)
2026, organized by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of
Quality and Productivity (SLAAQP).
Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
