The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, conducted the Annual Commander's Inspection of the SLAF Academy China Bay today (04 July 2026).
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marsha Bandu Edirisinghe attended
the dialogue, together with senior officials from the defence
establishments of both countries.
In line with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force and the 48th Anniversary of SLAF Station Weerawila, an all-night Pirith Chanting Ceremony was conducted at the Station premises on 01 July 2026.
Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
