The Pace Stick Awarding Ceremony for the No. 57 Airmen and No. 13 Airwomen Drill Instructor Technique Courses, and the Lanyard and Cane Awarding Ceremony for the No. 67 Airmen and No. 24 Airwomen Gunner Instructor Technique Courses was held on 19 December 2025 at the Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School, Diyatalawa.

The Commanding Officer, Group Captain DSMLK Sugathadasa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. All Officers, Instructors, and Warrant Officers-in-Charge of all sections were present at the ceremony.

The courses were conducted under the supervision of the Weapon Training Officer, Squadron Leader KWP Deshan. A total of ten (10) airmen and two (2) airwomen qualified to receive the prestigious Pace Sticks, while thirty-four (34) airmen and six (6) airwomen qualified to receive the distinctive Lanyard and Cane.

Leading Aircraftman Bandara PKGKL was adjudged the Best Drill Instructor, while Leading Aircraftman Wijekoon CDK was awarded as the Best All-Round Gunner Instructor of the course.
