NO. 07 MASTER INSTRUCTOR COURSE CONCLUSION CEREMONY AT TTS EKALA
The Conclusion Ceremony of the No.07 Master Instructor (MI) Course was held on 25 September 2025 at the Mini Auditorium of the Training Technical School (TTS) Ekala. A total of five instructors were selected for the course, which commenced on 14 July 2025 and continued until 25 September 2025, covering specialized areas of instructional techniques and professional development.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was the Director Personnel & Planning (Aeronautical Engineering), Air Commodore CJ Hettiarachchi. The event was also attended by the Officer Commanding Training, Group Captain RMKTK Gunasekara, Officer-in-Charge of Specialized Training, Wing Commander WMKN Wickramasinghe, the Training Wing Warrant Officer and other instructors.
The order of merit was topped by Sergeant HMNL Herath of the Aero Engineering trade, followed by Sergeant RA Dilruk of the Aero Engineering trade, Sergeant RRIR Sampath of the Safety Equipment trade, Sergeant KDH Siriwardane of the Aero Engineering trade and Flight Sergeant PMNM Sameera of the Communication Technology trade.
The Master Instructor Course was first introduced in 2013, and since then, TTS Ekala has successfully produced 55 Master Instructors, contributing immensely towards enhancing the professional instructional standards of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
At the ceremony, the under-training Master Instructors were awarded certificates and the MI Badge, marking their successful completion of the course.
