The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke visited a number of Civil Engineering projects entrusted to the SLAF as part of its contribution towards Nation Building.  He inspected the progress of the ongoing work at the Ambilitpitiya Pola, the Imaduwa Shopping complex and the three storied Bikkhu Sangawaasa being built at the Bellana Dharmapala Piriwena at Agalawatta, Mathugama.  This latter project is coordinated by SLAF Station Katukurunda. 

Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal R Gurusinghe and the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Katukurunda Wg Cdr. M.  Balasooriya conducted the Commander and briefed him on the progress of the work.
