Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Base Katunayake - 1st Session

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala,
conducted the AOC’s inspection (1st Session) at Sri Lanka Air Force Base
Katunayake on 25 August 2016.
The Commander reviewed the AOC’s parade, commanded by the Base Commander, Air Commodore Sagara Kotakadeniya. Certificates of commendation were awarded during the parade to 2 Warrant Officers, 4 SNCOs, 3 corporals, 3 airmen and 1 civilians for their meritorious contributions to the base in particular and to the Air Force in general.
During the course of the inspection the Commander visited sector I area of the base. The inspection of remaining areas of the base will be continued on 26 August 2016.
