Handing Over of 23rd ‘Guwan Lak Sevana’ House
A new house constructed under the "Guwan Lak Sevana” Housing Project launched by Sri Lanka Air Force SevaVanitha Unit was handed over to Sergeant Rathnayake RMCD (Ops Grd Sp I). The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy at Diyathalawa today (28 June 2018).
This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing and SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa. Overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.
Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Ruchira Samarasinghe, Commanding Officer SLAF Combat Training School Diyathalawa, Air Commodore Peterson Fernando, Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present for the ceremony.
