SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT ORGANIZES A LECTURE FOR SERVICE PERSONNEL AND THEIR SPOUSES

SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit organized a lecture on “How to inculcate a healthy relationship with your partner” for the service personnel and their spouses yesterday (31 October 2023) at the main Auditorium of SLAF TTS Ekala. The programme was conducted by Mr. Akila Vimanga Senewirathne together with Mrs. Subhashini Ekanayake. Mr. Akila Vimanga Senewirathne is a renowned Sinhala language instructor and a motivational lecturer where as Mrs. Subhashini Ekanayake is the Principal of Sumangala College Matale, who is also famous as a motivational speaker.
The lecture was organized to impart knowledge on how to maintain a healthy family life whilst strengthening the bond between newly married couples and couples who intend to get married in near future. It was intended to inculcate understanding and better knowledge among participants on how to lead a successful marriage life.
Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, the Chairperson of Seva Vanitha Unit graced this occasion as the Chief Guest. Moreover, Leading Aircraftwoman Herath AM and Leading Aircraftman Dilshan MMRT added more musical glamour to this event. The Commanding Officer of SLAF TTS Ekala Group Captain Uditha Piyasena, President Seva Vanitha unit of SLAF TTS Ekala Mrs. Prasanthika Gayani De Mel, Presidents of Seva Vanitha units of SLAF Station Colombo and SLAF Base Ratmalana participated this programme along with more than 450 personnel including Officers, Airmen/Airwomen and spouses of the service personnel.
