The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Station Diyatalawa on 21st August 2011.

At SLAF Station Diyatalawa, the Officer Commanding Training Wing Commander Chaminda Wickramaratna received the Commander on his arrival to the Station and a parade commanded by Commanding Officer Group Captain Janaka Amarasinghe officially welcomed the Commander.

During the inspection the Commander declared open a newly constructed Tennis court and a green house.




Addressing all personnel of the station, the Commander encouraged them to carry out the good work and to maintain goodwill with civil personnel living around the station whilst maintaining the quality and high standards of the Air Force.
