SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa conducted a flight safety awareness programme today (13 October 2025) in order to enhance the air-mindedness of the officer cadets and basic recruit trainees under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore DMR Dassanayake. A total of 52 officer cadets and 480 recruit trainees participated in the programme which was conducted under the direction of the Commanding Officer of No. 04 Squadron, Group Caption ABR Wijewardene.  

The Session provided valuable exposure to the flight safety, operational features, technical aspects and strategic significance of Aircraft, contributing to enhance the air-mindedness of the officer cadets and recruit trainees.
