SLAF COMBAT TRAINING SCHOOL, DIYATALAWA CELEBRATES 73RD ANNIVERSARY

The SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa celebrated its 73rd anniversary today (15 October 2025) under the patronage of the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore Rukman Dassanayake. The day’s proceedings commenced with a customary working parade.
As part of the commemoration of the formation day, Shramadana campaigns were conducted at several key locations including Eagles Children’s Park Diyatalawa, Bus stand located at the survey Junction, General Hospital Diyatalawa and Sujatha Lama Sewana, Bandarawela. As part of the outreach effort, sanitary items and dry rations packs were distributed among the Children of Sujatha Lama Sewana made possible through the voluntary contributions of the all ranks of the school.
Further, to strengthen the unity and camaraderie a series of sports events were also organized promoting teamwork and sprit among the personnel of the School.
