“GUWAN RANDARU SITHTHAM” ART COMPETITION CONCLUDES IN LINE WITH WORLD CHILDREN’S DAY - 2022

Giving due consideration for the thoughts of children of SLAF families in connection with the World Children’s Day celebration 2022, the “GUWAN RANDARU SITHTHAM” Art Competition - 2022 was organized by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit under the guidance of Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, awarded prizes and certificates to the winners during the SLAF’s "World Children’s Day" celebration at SLAF Base Rathmalana. A certificate was awarded to each contestant who participated in the competition in addition to the winners to recognize their valuable participation.

Nearly 500 paintings of contestants representing all of the SLAF establishments' entries were finalized in the art competition at Air Force Headquarters last month. A panel of judges chaired by the Air Secretary, Group Captain Anuruddha Wijesiriwardena, selected the winners.
