A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to the family of Squadron Leader RD Sooriyarachchi (Deceased) today (10 September 2025) and the housewarming ceremony was held at Maithri Road, Ingiriya. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

An exposure visit was organized under the ‘Clean Today – Green Tomorrow' Environmental Initiative yesterday (04 September 2025) to the New Peacock, Dunsinane and Meddecombra Estates managed by Aitken Spence Plantations.

The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, accompanied by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Weerawila, Group Captain Nalaka Wanasinghe participated in the ceremonial opening of the newly established Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Plant yesterday (02 September 2025) at Thissapura Kanishta Vidyalaya, Weerawila.

A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to the family of Corporal Jayawardena UM today (29 August 2025) and the housewarming ceremony was held at Waduraba, Galle.

Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Ratmalana, under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, launched a ‘Guwan Mithudam' project to relocate and upgrade the computer laboratory at the School for the Deaf, Ratmalana.
