With the auspices of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, this unit increased the financial assistance provided for children with special needs from  Rs. 25,000.00 to Rs. 50,000.00 with effect from year 2023.


A ‘Guwan Mithudam' project was successfully completed today (21 October 2024) at Mabima Vidyakara Maha Vidyalaya, Makewita by the SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala, under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa.


A special monetary donation was made today, 15 October 2024, for the 'Husma Plan' of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit by the Acting Commandant of SLAF Academy China Bay, Group Captain Asela Kuruwita. The donation was symbolically received by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa.


Sri Lanka Air Force Station Morawewa was successfully completed as the 1st Guwan Mithudam project in this year at ‘Samanala’ Preschool—Ethabediwewa yesterday (07 October 2024)

The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit successfully organized the World Children's Day celebrations for 2024 at the 'Pearl Bay' water park in Bandaragama, marking the second consecutive year of this event.


The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, in parallel to the World Children’s Day celebrations 2024 which fall on 1st October 2024, organized “Guwan Randaru Siththam Art Competition” for the children of Air Force service personnel


The Annual General Meeting (AGM)-2024 of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was held today (13 September 2024) at the Horizon auditorium of Air Force Headquarters Sri Jayawardenepura.


Another 'Guwan Mithudam' Community Service project concluded successfully today (09 September 2024) at Thirappan Thurei Kannagi Ammaan Kovil, Thimlathivu Village, facilitated by SLAF Station Batticaloa. The Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, honoured the event as the chief guest and the new water supply system was officially handed over to the community.
