The Japan - Lanka Friendship Association, with the generous support of Dr. Eranga Thilakarathne and other members of the delegation, handed over 100 units of spectacles to the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and Fire Vehicle Spare Parts to the SLAF Fire and Rescue Service today (18 September 2025) at Air Force Headquarters Seva Vanitha Unit.
The event was attended by the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, Vice President of the Japan - Lanka Friendship Association, Dr. Eranga Hasanthi, Acting Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Dammika Dias, Chief Fire Officer, Group Captain Hemantha Balasooriya, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya, Group Captain Viranga Premawardena, Secretary Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Randeni and Officers of Seva Vanitha Unit, airmen and airwomen.
