A donation of baby diapers was handed over by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit to the Directorate of Civil Administration at Air Force Headquarters on 18 August 2026 in support of its annual donation to the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital.
Under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe this marks the second such instance in which the Unit has supported the Directorate of Civil Administration in this annual initiative. The donated diapers will be provided to the Children’s Ward of the hospital to support the needs and comfort of young patients receiving treatment. The Seva Vanitha Unit looks forward to continuing this meaningful initiative and contributing towards the wellbeing of children in need.
