The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit successfully conducted a Children’s Grooming and Personality Development Workshop yesterday (02 November 2025) at the Eagles’ Lagoon View Hotel, Katunayake, with the participation of children aged 14 to 19 years from SLAF families. The event was held under the guidance of the Chairperson of the Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The programme aimed to enhance the confidence, discipline, and social etiquette of Air Force children through a series of interactive sessions and practical demonstrations. The lecture panel, comprising Group Captain Nirosha Senadheera, Group Captain Samila Dharmawardana, Squadron Leader Shamran Iqbal and Squadron Leader Sachini Samarathunga, conducted inspiring sessions covering leadership, communication, grooming and table etiquette.
The workshop concluded successfully, leaving participants enriched with new knowledge and motivation for their personal growth.
