The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was held today (19 September 2025) at Air Force Headquarters. The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, and attended by senior members of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Presidents and Officers-in-Charge of the SLAF Academy, Bases and Stations, together with coordinators and warrant officers in charge of the respective Units.
The proceedings commenced with a welcome address by the Chairperson. This was followed by the reading of the minutes of the previous AGM by the Secretary of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Ranedeni. Thereafter, the Treasurer of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Squadron Leader Vimukthi Paragahawaththa, presented the financial reports for the year 2024/2025.
Subsequently, the Officers-in-Charge of Seva Vanitha Units from SLAF establishments briefed the gathering on projects carried out at camp level as well as the proposed project plans for the year 2026.
In addition, several video presentations highlighting the services, special projects, and community service responsibilities undertaken by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit were screened for the audience.
