The Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sri Jayawardhanapura handed over the newly renovated sanitary facilities to 'Senehasa' Education, Resource, Research, and Information Centre (SERRIC) as part of its ongoing community welfare and social responsibility initiatives. The project was undertaken with the objective of improving sanitation standards and enhancing the overall health, hygiene and well-being of the beneficiaries.
In addition to the renovation of the sanitary facilities, essential items required by the beneficiaries were also distributed during the programme. These items were provided through the generous voluntary contributions of personnel serving at Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters, reflecting their collective commitment towards supporting the welfare and well-being of the community.
The project was carried out under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sri Jayawardhanapura, Air Commodore Buddhika Piyasiri. His leadership, encouragement and continued support contributed significantly to the successful completion of the project.
