An educational and entertainment programme for preschool students and their parents was successfully held today (09 July 2025) at the Sri Lanka Air Force Museum, Ratmalana. This collaborative initiative was organized by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Directorate of Welfare, Media Division and the electronic media partner for the event, Supreme Radio (Pvt) Ltd. The programme brought together over 140 children and their parents from SLAF Base Ratmalana and SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura for a morning of engaging activities and learning experiences.
The event was conducted under the close supervision of the Base Commander SLAF Base Ratmalana, Air Commodore Amitha Jayamaha and was graced by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, as the Chief Guest. The programme included educational sessions, entertainment items and parental engagement activities, setting the value of continued support for family welfare and child development.
