A special donation programme was held today
(23 December 2022) at the "Roman Catholic School" in Katukurunda,
evoking the teachings of the holy Jesus Christ about love,
generosity and kindness, under the guidance of Commander of
the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshna Pathirana and the Chairperson of
the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini
Pathirana.
The occasion was graced by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and donated dry ration packs and stationery items for fifty (50) school children and their families at the Roman Catholic School Katukurunda. The event was attended by the President Seva Vanitha Unit SLAF Katukurunda, Mrs. Jayamini Priyangika Kumarasinghe, the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Katukurunda, Group Captain Asitha Hettiarachchi, Secretary SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Suresh Fernando, staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, officers and other ranks from SLAF Station Katukurunda.
