The second phase of the "Guwan Gunadam" project completed under the guidance of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana and the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana, in view of uplifting the living standards of the civil employees who are serving in Sri Lanka Air Force establishments.
All SLAF establishments were given an equal opportunity to consider the grievances of civilian employees and the most deserving five personnel were selected for projects namely house renovations and self-employment. The following civil personnel were selected after a series of meticulous administrative processes under the "Guwan Gunadam" concept of the Seva Vanitha Unit at Air Force Headquarters. All projects were duly completed and handed over to the respective beneficiaries.
