Under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, a special donation of musical instruments was made to H/Katuwana Central College, Katuwana, today (29 April 2025). In addition, the Unit distributed gift packs containing stationery items, exercise books, and other school accessories to the top performers of the recent scholarship examination.
This initiative, undertaken at the request of the school’s Principal, aims to enhance the institution’s music education program and provide students with greater opportunities to develop their aesthetic talents.
The Chairperson graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by the Secretary of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Randeni, members of the Seva Vanitha Unit, as well as teachers and students of the school.
