The Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Katunayake successfully conducted a Shramadana campaign and health awareness programme on 16 May 2025 at Katunayake Maha Vidyalaya, under the guidance and leadership of the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Sonali Nanayakkara.
The day's activities commenced with a Shramadana campaign, during which school surrounding areas were cleaned and organized. Following the campaign, a comprehensive health programme followed the Shramadana activity. Students were given access to a eye, dental clinic and nutrition lecture were conducted by the SLAF medical team.
To conclude the event on a memorable note, the Seva Vanitha Unit organized an Ice Cream Dansala, offering a sweet treat to the students and adding a festive atmosphere to the day.
