A reception was hosted today (20 May 2025), by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, in honour of the ladies of the delegation participating in the 80th CISM General Assembly and Congress. The event took place at the Air Force Headquarters Officers’ Mess in Colombo.
The President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, graced the occasion as a special guest on the invitation of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Chairperson, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe.
Attendees included the ladies of the visiting delegation, the Secretary of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Randeni, as well as members of the Seva Vanitha Unit staff.
The evening featured a vibrant cultural show showcasing a fusion of traditional Sri Lankan performing arts and captivating dance performances by the Sri Lanka Air Force Dance Troupe.
