The finals of the 74th National Wrestling Championship 2012, was held at the Sugathadasa  Indoor  Stadium on 18 March 2012. The Chief Assistant Secretary to the President, Mr. Sepala Rathnayake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest..

The SLAF become the runners up with 03 gold, 02 silver and 05 bronze medals, whilst the Navy become, champions .The championship was held from 17th March to 18th March 2012 with the participation of 106 male competitors.
