The outgoing Chinese Ambassador, Her Excellency Yang Xiuping, paid a farewell call on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, at the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters this evening (23 April 2012).
 
The outgoing Ambassador visited the Commander to express her personal appreciation of the mutually beneficial and cordial relations maintained between the Embassy and the Sri Lanka Air Force in all instances where the two organizations interacted during her tenure.

After a discussion on matters of mutual interest, the Commander presented a memento and a special gift to the outgoing Ambassador and wished her the best in all her future endeavors.
