The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, conducted the AOC's Inspection of SLAF Unit Katukurunda on 13 July 2012. 

The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Unit Katukurunda Wing Commander DHS Amarasinghe and was accorded a street lining on arrival. 

The Commander inspected all areas within the unit premises and addressed all ranks of the Unit and praised the commendable job they had performed and encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals.
