The closing address ceremony of No 150 intake Airmen Basic Clerk Accounts Trade Training Course and  1/2011  Aero Engine Advanced  course  was held on 17.07.2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunawardena and Officer Commanding Training, Wing Commander CJ Hettiarachchi. Gp Capt GAMW Amerakoon and  Gp Capt CN Weerasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guests.

The Basic Clerk Accounts Trade Training Course was commenced on 23.03.2011 and terminated on 17.07.2012. A total of 45 Airmen passed out as competent Clerk Accounts on this occasion and they underwent both theory and practical training during the course.
The Shield for the best airman of the Basic Clerk Accounts course was awarded to 43233 AC Kumarasinghe CKYT for his exceptional performance.

The Advance Aero Engine Trade Training Course was commenced on 09.06.2011 and terminated on 17.07.2012. A total of 28 Airmen passed out as competent Aero Engine Fitters on this occasion and they too underwent both theory and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best airman of the Aero Engine Advanced course was awarded to 28741 Cpl Kumara RGSC for his exceptional performance.
