Annual Commander's Inspection - SLAF Unit Mirigama - 2012
The Commander of the Sri Lanka
Air Force, Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama conducted the annual AOC's
Inspection of the SLAF Unit Mirigama on 24 August
2012.
The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer Wing Commander JMCR Jayasundara and was awarded with a Street Lining of airmen at the Unit premises commanded by Flying Officer HPNJ Karunarathne. The Commander inspected all areas within and out the Unit and appreciated the level of development of the Unit.
Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed the Officers and men of the Unit while praising the commendable job they had done and he encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals. The Commander also awarded commendations to an Airman appreciating his valuable services rendered to the Radar Maintenance at No 04 ADRS SLAF Unit Mirigama.
