Sri Lanka Air Force continues to Facilitate the Air Transport of the
sacred Kapilavastu Relics on their journey through out Sri Lanka from
the 29 of August to 12 of September 2012. The exposition, which are on a
special visit through various part of Sri Lanka were transported using
Mi-17 helicopters of the Sri Lanka Air Force. Bell-206 Helicopters were
also used to facilitate flower drops during special occasions of the
tour.
The Kapilavastu Relics are now on display at the Ganagaramaya Temple in Colombo until 10 of September 2012.
