Airmen Showcase English Language Skills

The English Language Performance Day of No 29 Airmen and No 03 Airwomen Gunner Advance (TE -II) Training Course was held at the Main Lecture Hall of Regimental Training Centre at SLAF Station Ampara on 18th September, 2012. The occasion was graced by the Commanding Officer of the Station Gp Cpt NNDA Nanayakkara as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer 39 Regiment Wing Sqn Ldr NP Perera, Officer Commanding Training Sqn Ldr SDDJ Ranasinghe, Officers and other ranks also took part in the occasion.

The Comprehensive English Course was conducted from 10 Sep 12 to 18 Sep 12. The success of learning English for a week was showcased on the stage splendidly with variety of events including dramas, songs, and speeches revealing the talents of the trainees. Sqn Ldr JB Pussadeniya, The English Instructor of the Comprehensive English Course provided great encouragement to the trainees during the period of the course.
