The closing address ceremony of No. 01/2012, 149 intake of Air Photo Basic Course was held on 20th September, 2012 at the Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School (TTS) Ekala under the patronage of Commanding Officer Group Captain P Ranasinghe and Acting Officer Commanding Training Squadron Leader WUS De Silva. Group Caption GAMW Amrakoon Commanding Officer MTROW graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Director General Engineering.

The Air Photo basic course was commenced on 27 Feb 2012 and concluded successfully on 20th September, 2012. A total of 08 Airmen passed out as Air Photo Assistants on this occasion having undergone both theory and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best Air Photo Assistants of the course was awarded to 42736 AC Premarathna DMSC for his exceptional performance.
