The closing address and awards ceremony of No. 01/2012, 149 intake and Re-Mustered Gunner Computer Technician Basic Course was held on 25 Sep 2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Caption P Ranasingha.Command Information Technology Officer Group Caption AS Vithana graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.   

The Computer Technician Basic Course was commenced on 02 Apr 2012 and terminated on 25 Sep 2012. A total of 20 Airmen passed out as Computer Technicians and they underwent both theory and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best Computer Technician of the course was awarded to 42545 AC Rathnayaka RMDP for his exceptional performance.
