Sri Lanka Air Force Station Diyatalawa Commemorated its 60th Formation Day

Sri Lanka Air Force Station Diyatalawa celebrated its 60th Formation Day chanting pirith on 14th October 2012 at the Station premises and followed by an alms giving to Buddhist Priests on the following day.

A shramadana campaign was carried out to clean the bus stand, the railway station and the Diyatalawa town with the participation of all ranks and civil staff of the Station.

A parade was also held at the Station Parade Square and it was reviewed by the present Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force Station Diyatalawa Group Captain Janaka Amerasinghe, on 16th October 2012. This was followed by organized sports activities and the all ranks lunch.
