Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama declared open the newly constructed holiday home complex at Pallekele, Kandy on 26th November, 2012.

Director Operations AVM GP Bulathsinghala, Director Logistic AVM KVB Jayampathy, Director Civil Engineering AVM CR Gurusinghe, Command Welfare Project Officer Air Commodore WLRP Rodrigo and the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sigiriya Wg Cdr TBC De Silva were also present at the opening.
